Have you ever had such a pull to vintage handbags that you get a thrill out of the hunt and finding that piece you have been searching for for a great price? Me too. I thought to put together this blog so i can collate my finds for you, in brands, budgets, size, and use or whatever you request! That way you can search for you perfect work bag or dinner bag after going through my personal recommendations through direct review and use, or extensive research.
My love for bags started when i was a kid. My Oma had a collection of antique bags that were often intricately beaded into beautiful designs and patterns. Then, growing up i would experiment with making my own bags out of old jeans and scrap fabric. Now as an adult my love for handbags has grown to appreciate vintage designer pieces, with my first ever designer purchase being a Chloe bag on a trip to Paris from the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. The magic of the incredible architecture and the pull of the ‘SALE’ sign next to this Chloe Jane Tassel bag was all to tempting to resist. Although as a traveler in my 20’s i knew i would be eating rice for the next couple of weeks to recoup the funds i will always remember that trip and my first designer purchase.
